The layers of scents include an overarching sweetness, blended with a floral-dried fruit middle note and supported by a subtle undertone of rich leather and that je ne sais pas that emanates from a fresh, unlit cigar.
I scraped each seed pod by hand and macerated both the precious insides and bean husks in 95% ethanol and let it infuse for weeks, and the result is a sweet and complex vanilla liquor.
The current batch was started in 11/2022. As I begin a new one in 3/2023, half of this batch will go to the evaporation stage. Then, it will slowly become a sensuous, syrupy oleoresin and be available (in extremely limited quantities) for purchase.
